Pre Surgical Clearance

Prior to surgery, patients require a complete comprehensive physical examination, often called a pre-operative work up. Generally, a Pre-Surgical Clearance is requested within 30 days of your scheduled surgery date. Preparing for a Preoperative Exam:

• Be prepared to provide details on any injury or illness, your medical and family history
• A list of all medications, vitamins and supplements you take, including the strength and frequency taken
